”Stand and face the rain, let its iron rays pierce you; drift with the water that wants to sweep you away but yet stand fast, and upright in this way abide the sudden and endless shining of the sun” Kafka.

Dante

le cose», disse, «che ne son lontano;

cotanto ancor ne splende il sommo duce.

Quando s’appressano o son, tutto è vano

nostro intelletto; e s’altri non ci apporta,

nulla sapem di vostro stato umano.

Però comprender puoi che tutta morta

fia nostra conoscenza da quel punto

che del futuro fia chiusa la porta».

«For we are like tree trunks in the snow. In appearance they lie smoothly and a little push should be enough to set them rolling. No, it can’t be done, for they are firmly wedded to the ground. But see, even that is only appearance.» Kafka

Chronos, Yannis Ritsos

img_27235722603_f520

Conviviality at work

After work drinks, conviviality at work, Social club

One of the most alienating thing in the world of employment is when they start to consider that man also needs conviviality and start proposing moments of leisure, having a snack with colleagues and friendly coffee. Holy crap, instead of letting you free, they also organize freedom and leisure.

A diversion organized by your employer. I’m sick of it. God stop them.

Le hussard bleu, Roger Nimier

«I don’t belong ton any era. If there is war, I will serve under Maurice of Saxony. It’s a ball of Solferino, left in the air for a century, that will kill me».

Roger Nimier, “the bleue Hussard”, 1950.

Roger Nimier, « Le Hussard bleu », 1950.

Ingmar Bergman

” Ingmar Bergman
