Posted Lighthouse
inI sailed 118 miles to see Sheringham Lighthouse. It was built after 126 people died in 1906 ship sinking. This lighthouse survived wars and disasters and is still standing proudly facing the Pacific Ocean. A truly magical place, untouched and beautifully forlorn.
Sailing there early in the morning will be calm and you will have a tidal push toward your destination. You will notice the ocean swell as soon as you cross the bar. It is not bad but it is there to remind you that you are headed for the West Coast.
